Laker swimmers continue to garner honors!

Two Laker swimmers have been honored this week by the GLIAC and Collegeswimming.com. Jordan Schrotenboer was named GLIAC Swimmer of the Week for his FOUR NCAA "A" cut performances at the Calvin Invitational. Jordan qualified in the 200 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke, and the 200 Individual Medley. Jordan also broke the school record in the 200 freestyle on the lead-off leg of the 800 freestyle relay.

Aaron Beebe was named the Counsilman-Hunziker Division II National Swimmer of the Week, also for his performances at the Calvin meet. Aaron swam A cut qualifying times in the 100 and 200 butterfly events. He set a new school record in the 200 fly.

Congratulations to both of these outstanding athletes for these prestigious honors!
